Prayer
AREAS WE NEED BREAKTHROUGH IN:
1) Staff
- local staff would be raised up
- male staff would join us
- finances for a staff couple
2) Ministry Finances
- trusting God for R8000 per month for operating costs
3) Professional Ministry
- trusting God for leaders on teams that have a desire to invest in their teammates
4) University Ministry
- God would cultivate a sense of community among students involved
- we are currently challenging students to be a part of the UJ student leadership team, pray that they would:
- own the vision of reaching every team and every sports man and woman at UJ
- trust God to use them
- take steps of faith
OTHER PRAYER REQUESTS:
Athletes in Action The Netherlands would like to send again sportteams to South Africa during July/August 2011. Please pray that God makes people in The Netherlands passionate to come to South Africa. Please also pray that God will bring leaders for the teams.
Please pray for good partnerships between Athletes in Action and churches in South Africa.
PRAISES:
1) the current STINTers from overseas
2) the partnership with AIA at Michigan State University
3) the finances that are already coming in monthly
4) there are emerging leaders at the univeristy and professional levels
